Have a Supersized Valentine’s Day at the Houston Zoo!

Celebrate Valentine's at the Houston ZooValentine’s Day might bring up images of red roses and fancy chocolate truffles. But what about the zoo? If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family, this year, be sure to check out the Will Zoo Be Mine? event being held February 11, 2017 at the Houston Zoo. Kids will be invited to craft their own valentines to take home, as well as one to share with one of the zoo’s friendly inhabitants. There will also be a love-themed scavenger hunt, and educational talks hosted by Phillipps 66, where guests can learn more about their favorite animals. Perhaps best of all, this event is included with the general price of admission. It is also free for all Zoo Members!

How Can You Enjoy the Fun?

The Valentine’s-themed event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, perfect for couples hoping to spend Valentine’s Day, itself, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

This is just one of the events coming up at the Houston Zoo. There will also be Enchantment Under the Sea, on February 17, 2017, several hostings of Leap Into Action for Frogs, and Family Nature Club events to name a few.
