In the busyness of the holiday season, did you and your family miss out on the chance to do some great twinkly light sighting? Maybe you’re just looking for a way to lessen the pain of taking your own Christmas tree and twinkly lights down? If so, you still have a few days to plan a fun family outing, to see the holiday lights at the Houston Zoo, which will be up until January 14, 2017. Zoo Lights opens at 6 p.m. each night, and there are even special value nights being hosted from 6 to 10 p.m.
Don’t Miss the Family-friendly Fun This Winter
The Houston zoo is currently a winter wonderland, featuring thousands of colorful, twinkling lights along with festive holiday tunes, and the zoo’s beloved inhabitants, of course.
There are also a variety of animated animal sculptures, perfect for honoring the zoo’s main purpose. There is even a special display dubbed “Holly Berry,” a vintage Cadillac that is decked out in colorful lights, and which dances to festive tunes!
