Are you hoping to enjoy some great music in the great outdoors this summer? If so, now is the time to make plans to attend Free Press Summer Fest, which will be held on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday June 5, 2016. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch a mix of local and nationally-acclaimed artists, including Modest Mouse, The National, Edward Sharpe and the magnetic Zeroes, Violent Femmes, Texas’ own Leon Bridges, and many more artists. The show will take place from 12 noon to 8 p.m., in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park.

The festival gates will open each day of the event at 11 a.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, sheets or towels to create their own seating. In addition to various restaurants, bars and concessions for sale throughout the park, there will also be free water stations. Tickets are $157.50 for a two-day, general admission pass, or 92.50 for a general admission pass to either date.
